  • Mini First Aid Skills!

    Fri 23 Jun 2023 A Butt

    Eldon became one of the very first school's to take part in essential life skills of learning first aid skills. All our junior classes enjoyed learning the life saving skills e.g. putting someone in the recovery position and CPR techniques. Well done everyone! 

  • Sports Day at Eldon's Track!

    Sports day was a hit with all of our children from aged 2 years up to 11 years. 

    Staff at the school were able to mix the traditional sports day games like 'Egg and Spoon' race, skipping and balancing a bean bag with events like the javelin and the relay race! Parents even joined in with the excitement by racing against each other! 

  • Robyn Love Inspires Eldon!

    What an inspirational Paralympian you are Robyn Love! In just a couple of hours you absolutely motivated our children and staff to reach for the stars today! As well as raising £1000 our children loved exercising with Robyn. 

    Our children can't wait for Robyn to visit again to play wheelchair basketball!

  • Sarah O'Keefe from The Educate Awards visits Eldon!

    Sarah had come to visit Eldon for an interview to find out what it was like having won the Innovative and Creative Literacy Award! Instead, we got in there first with our interview! Our children were fabulous in interviewing Sarah. She was very impressed with our children's interviewing skills! Well done Jake and Maryam! 

  • Teddy Bear Fest with Richard O'Neil

    Our Teddy Bear Fest was a hit! 255 pupils, parents and staff enjoyed Richard O'Neils new book entitled Rag an Bone Bear! Even our new starters joined in!

  • Cycling Proficiency Test!

    Eldon is proud to acknowledge World Bike Day! An interesting fact from our timeline ... In 1982 twenty four pupils from Eldon failed their cycling proficiency course, only to pass it a year later! In 2023 thirty Year 5 and 6 pupils are getting ready to pass their Bikability course; let's see how they do!
