The Friends of Eldon

Hello Everyone! 

We are the friends of Eldon Primary School! 

We hold a weekly social gathering event every Tuesday mornings at 9am-10am at Eldon House! 

In 'normal times' it is a time for us to get together and contribute to making some of our big decisions that affect our children, this may be from Halloween disco’s/fundraising events/projects within school and many more.

Currently, we organise free food parcels for our Eldon families and community! The uptake is high during these difficult times. 
September 2022 brought a renewed focus and energy. We are determined to continue the great work with our families and community! 
 

The Friends of Eldon also help around school listening to pupils reading, assisting on trips, helping children with projects etc.

If you feel this is something you would like to be part of then please chat to Mrs Butt or Miss Power and come along to our next meeting and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. We are looking forward to meeting you all very soon!

Our Friends of Eldon have co-ordinated so many whole school events this term including: 

MacMillan Coffee Afternoon and our Halloween Disco and our annual Christmas Fair! 

Our last annual Summer Fair raised £1000 in July 2022! Well done and thank you, everyone! 

Eat Well for Less at Eldon House!

Coming soon! Eldon is proud to present 'Eat Well for Less at Eldon House' taking place every Thursday from 2nd June . Parents will have the chance to take part in an exciting new dining experience at Eldon House. This opportunity will offer parents a chance to discover delicious meals which will save some pennies.

Summer Fair 2021

This years Summer Fair promises to be even bigger and better than ever before. This years event will take place on Saturday 25th June. There will be a fantastic selection of stalls, games and events throughout the School Hall and both playgrounds. Come join us for facepainting, wet the teacher, raffles, tombolas, gifts, food and more! 

Leading Parent Partnership Award

On March 29th 2019 we welcomed the Lead Assessor for 'Leading Parent Partnership' into school. We can now reveal that Eldon has successfully achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award. Thank you to all parents and carers for supporting our school. We are very proud of this award and recognise the importance of our wonderful and productive relationship with our parents.

Easter Competition

Raffle tickets on sale now for our spectacular Easter competition. Thank you for the generous donations made towards the raffle prizes and there is still time to donate. There is now a fantastic selection of delicious easter eggs and other great prizes on offer.

Christmas Fair 

Well done to all the class who participated and ran their own stalls. congratulations to Reception class managed to raise the most overall. The total raised on the day was £274.05.

Summer Fair
