This year, whilst supporting the Climate Crisis Committee's focus on 'solving the problem of The Hot World' the theme is recycle and reuse! All classes will have the opportunity to run stalls to raise money by selling their creative Christmas creations! Watch this space for more details!

Educate Awards 2021
Sat 27 Nov 2021Eldon Primary was up for four regional awards at this years Educate Awards!

Children In Need
Fri 19 Nov 2021A fabulous £750+ was raised for Children in Need!
Olivia (Yr5) did a great job sharing lots of information about this great charity at our last Super Learning Day!
She joined forces with Miss Waddington and together with the support of all the children and families, they raised well over £750!

Looking for the lost Owl Baby!
Fri 12 Nov 2021Our EYFS children visited Eldon's Forest in search of Bill, the lost Owl Baby.
After searching the local area around the school, and putting up 'missing' posters, the children decided to extend their search to the local forest.
There they found Bill and his friend Twiggy! They were delighted that their search was over and both Bill and Twiggy were both well! Take a look on Twitter for a fabulous clip!

World Science Day
Wed 10 Nov 2021Our Climate Crisis Committee led the way to renewing our pledges to solve the problem of 'The Hot World' and Global Warming! Linking this with reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions in the environment, our children designed 'zero emission' cars! Junior children planned and designed electrical vehicles after researching these. Diwali Celebrations!
Thu 04 Nov 2021Year 5, with the help of one of our parents, were able to retell the story of Diwali! Children engaged in traditional stick dancing and rangoli pattern making!
Reception and Nursery pupils helped Easha (Reception pupil) to celebrate her New Year on Friday 5th November. They explored all things Diwali in our 4D room and will build on this practice and knowledge over the coming days! Eldon's Climate Crisis Committee Commences!
Thu 04 Nov 2021Our School Council have renamed themselves CCC ... The Climate Crisis Committee! This is in response to the COP26 movement where leaders all over the world are taking a stand against climate change. The story 'The Problem of The Very Hot World' inspired us to think carefully about renewing our Eldon Pledge!
